Hever Castle day trip

Today was my first attempt of uploading to Flickr, bookmark this page for future updates.

On the spur of the moment, I decided to visit Hever castle, home of Anne Boleyn and later home to Anne of Cleves. An early start ended up being a late breakfast stop at my local Little Chef, where I remembered to turn my SatNav recorder on which struggled to lock onto a signal before Crowborough.

Nothing exciting happened at Hever Castle, apart from possibly the birth of the mother of Queen Elizabeth I. I also had a quick look at the church next door, where the grandfather of Queen Elizabeth I is buried.

Finally, nipped into Edenbridge to buy a snack at Tescos, turned my GPS on and then back home.
