Bodiam Castle day trip

A bad start when I could not get my SatNav working.

Cannot connect to the mobile network, Smartnav will try again.

There are mobile black spots about, so I drove on hoping to get a route delivered before I got lost. Eventually I stopped in a layby and rebooted my car, still no route. I nearly went home again, but realised I knew there was a sign to Bodiam somewhere on the A21 so I continued. Looking back at my GPS route, I see I took a scenic route.

Before I left I spent half an hour trying to contact my satNav technical support but had to give up. Although I knew the way home, I tried the SatNav again, and it worked!
